Bradbury was founded in Tasmania by Paul and Sally Bradbury who have been making bats for 17 years. So highly regarded in the Pro game, Bradbury did not advertise or promote their brand as demand was, and still had, never been met.

In 2001 Bradbury moved to Somerset, England to compete with the 'big brands' on an international playing field. Since 2001 time has been split between the County Ground at Taunton and Australia. Due to the unanticipated growth of the UK market the majority of time has been devoted to the UK. Today the bat makers have returned home to their base in Fremantle, Australia where they continue to make for the international cricketing elite and emerging stars.
