The Salix Junior Praestantia Grade One BatThe Salix Praestantia Grade One Bat is a simple classic bat, it's name meaning 'excellence from willow'.

This bat is manufactured with the very best hand selected grade one English Willow and uses a combination of handshaping and pressing to create the deep bow that has dominated the highest levels of cricket for years.

The unique profile of the Praestantia offers a long driving area, thick edges, deep bow, immaculate pick up and unrivalled performance. A long driving area has been set lower then the Pod with a domed back where the sanding is convex. Salix have achieved their flagship finish by individually treating the bat at every stage of manufacture from machining, pressing and hand shaping to the fine sanding.

The Praestantia is continuing to capture the imagination of the most talented and dedicated in the game.
