Chase 167 Orca Short Handle Bat - Blue/Black

The Chase 167 Orca Cricket Bat is made using hand selected unbleached grade one English willow. Chase have ensured that an excellent pick up is maintained by using the traditional English bat shape.

The 167 has been shaped with the attacking batsman in mind, ideal for the attacking player that looks to make a big statement. A mid to high sweet spot gives the user a perfect weapon to produce field piercing shots. Fitted with the traditional oval handle offering superb power and balance with an angled toe to minimise any damage caused from bat tapping and general use. The 167 has been excellently finished with chrome stickers giving the bat a traditional yet contemporary design.

All the Chase cricket bats you will find on Pro Direct have been expertly pre-prepared by Chase. Each bat has been passed through a specially made knocking in machine that prepares the whole face of the bat, although we do advise further preparation. Linseed oil has been applied as well as an anti-scuff sheet to offer higher performance and added longevity. Finally a unique Chase toe guard has been applied for the final professionals touch.
